I come from a family of carpet weavers and have spent years studying and practising traditional Azerbaijani crafts. Azerbaijan has a UNESCO-recognised carpet-weaving tradition, and I’m passionate about sharing its history, symbolism, and techniques with visitors.

My tours combine visits to workshops, museums, and sometimes weavers’ homes, where you can see carpets and textiles being made and learn to read patterns and motifs. I explain the regional styles, the natural dyes, and the role of carpets in Azerbaijani culture—from dowries to daily life. If you’re interested, we can also touch on other crafts such as copper work, ceramics, and jewellery.

I lead experiences in English and Azərbaycan and keep groups small so everyone can ask questions and, if they wish, try their hand at a simple technique. Whether you’re a collector, a designer, or simply curious about handmade crafts, I’ll make sure you leave with a deeper appreciation of Azerbaijan’s artistic heritage.
